Terms of Use
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 5, 2026
These terms apply to the Savior Guitar website at saviorguitar.com, including its free online tuners and blog, and to the Savior Guitar Tuner app for iOS and Android. The website is operated by Savior Guitar of Pikeville, North Carolina. The app is published by NewCulture Consulting, LLC of Raleigh, North Carolina, on behalf of Savior Guitar. By using the website or the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
Using the tuners
The online tuners and the Savior Guitar Tuner app are tools to help you tune a stringed instrument by ear and by microphone. Readings depend on your microphone, your environment, background noise, and how the note is played. They are provided as an aid, not a guarantee of pitch. You are responsible for how you tune and handle your instrument, including the tension you put on strings. Over-tightening a string can break it or damage an instrument, and we are not liable for that.
The app license
When you buy Savior Guitar Tuner we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the app on devices you own or control, under the rules of the store you bought it from. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app or its pitch-detection code, except where the law allows despite this term.
The app is a one-time purchase handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play. Pricing, billing, and refunds follow that store's terms and refund policy; we cannot issue refunds directly. Optional add-on packs, if offered later, are sold the same way and are licensed under these terms.
We may update the app to fix problems, improve accuracy, or add features, and we may stop distributing it. Updates are provided through the store. Because the app runs entirely on your device, an installed copy keeps working even if we stop updating it.
Website content
Articles on the blog describe how a professional tech approaches setups and repairs. They are general information, not instructions tailored to your instrument. Work you do on your own gear is at your own risk. Repair, setup, and coaching services are arranged directly with Savior Guitar and are governed by the quote or agreement for that work, not by these terms.
The website, the app, their design, text, images, and code, and the Savior Guitar name and marks are owned by Savior Guitar or NewCulture Consulting, LLC, or used with permission. You may link to the site and share its pages. You may not copy or republish its content without permission, apart from brief quotations with attribution.
Contact form
Information you send through the contact page is used to respond to you as described in our Privacy Policy. Do not send anything you consider confidential; email is not a secure channel.
Third-party links and stores
The site links to third-party services such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, and the app is distributed through Apple and Google. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or policies.
No warranty
The website, the online tuners, and the app are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and accuracy of results. We do not promise that they will be error-free or uninterrupted.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Savior Guitar and NewCulture Consulting, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, or for damage to instruments, strings, or equipment, arising from use of the website or the app. Our total liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, except that Apple's or Google's terms may give you additional rights in your own jurisdiction.
Changes
We may revise these terms. The effective date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the website or the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
