Privacy Policy
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 5, 2026
This policy covers the Savior Guitar website at saviorguitar.com and the Savior Guitar Tuner app for iOS and Android. The website and repair business are operated by Savior Guitar in Pikeville, North Carolina. The app is published by NewCulture Consulting, LLC of Raleigh, North Carolina, on behalf of Savior Guitar. Questions about either go to aron@saviorguitar.com.
The short version: the tuner listens to your instrument on your device and nothing it hears is recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. We do not run analytics or advertising, we do not sell or share personal information, and the app has no accounts.
The Savior Guitar Tuner app
Microphone. The app asks for microphone access so it can detect the pitch you are playing. Audio is analyzed in real time in memory on your phone and discarded immediately. It is never recorded, saved, or transmitted. You can revoke microphone access at any time in your phone's settings, and the app will stop listening.
Settings. Your preferences (calibration, tuning presets, display mode, color palette, and whether you have granted microphone access) are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
No network activity. The app works fully offline and makes no network requests of its own. It contains no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking software.
Purchases. The app is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google processes the payment under their own privacy policies. We never receive your payment details, and the app does not link a purchase to you beyond what the store itself records.
The website
Online tuners. The free tuners on this site work the same way as the app: your browser asks for microphone access, audio is analyzed in the page, and nothing is recorded or uploaded. Tuner settings are kept in your browser's local storage.
Contact form. When you send a message through the contact page we receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number if you provide it, the instrument and service you are asking about, and your message. We use it only to reply and to arrange the work you asked about. Submissions are delivered and stored by Netlify, our hosting provider, and kept as long as needed to handle your request. Email us to have a submission deleted.
Hosting logs. Like nearly every website, our host keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps) for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to identify or profile visitors.
No analytics or advertising. The site does not use Google Analytics or any other analytics, advertising, or social tracking scripts, and it sets no tracking cookies. Fonts are served from our own domain, not from a third party.
Links. The site links to other services such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Those services have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for their practices.
Children
The website and app are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information through the contact form, email us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You can use the app and the online tuners without providing any personal information. If you have contacted us, you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it by emailing aron@saviorguitar.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes
If we change how the website or app handles information, we will update this page and the effective date above. Material changes to the app's data practices will also be noted in the app's store listing.
