Guitar Tech · Coach · Musician · Songwriter
I've been working on guitars for over 20 years, but my relationship with stringed instruments goes back even further. I picked up my first guitar as a teenager and never put it down. What started as curiosity about why my guitar didn't feel right turned into a deep dive into the craft of instrument setup and repair.
Over the years I've had the privilege of serving an incredible range of players — from professional touring musicians who depend on flawless gear night after night, to worship leaders shaping the sound of their congregations, to dedicated hobby players chasing their perfect tone, and everyone in between. No matter who you are or how you play, your instrument deserves the same level of care and precision.
My experience extends beyond the workbench. I've worked backline for touring acts, ensuring that every guitar hitting the stage is dialed in, reliable, and ready to perform under the pressure of a live show. That road-tested perspective shapes the way I approach every setup and repair — because I know firsthand what it takes for an instrument to hold up when it matters most.
Based in Goldsboro, North Carolina, I serve players across the region who want their instruments to play and sound their absolute best. Whether it's a beat-up road warrior that needs some love or a brand-new guitar that needs to be dialed in, every instrument gets my full attention and care.
The name “Savior Guitar” reflects what matters most to me. As a disciple of Yeshua, my faith is the foundation of everything I do — including how I treat the people and instruments that come through my shop. I believe in honest work, fair pricing, and treating every guitar like it's my own.
Beyond the bench, I'm a musician and songwriter. I write and perform music rooted in faith, life, and the stories that matter. Being a player myself gives me a unique perspective as a tech — I don't just set up guitars, I understand what players need because I am one.

My Approach
How I think about guitar care
Every guitar has a story, and every player has a unique feel they're after. My job isn't to impose a standard setup on every instrument — it's to listen to what you need and dial in your guitar to match YOUR playing style.
I believe in doing things right the first time. That means using quality materials, taking the time to get details right, and never cutting corners. A setup isn't just about measurements — it's about how the guitar feels in your hands and sounds to your ears.
I also believe in education. I love teaching players how their instruments work so they can take better care of their gear between visits. An informed player is a happier player.
